Freddie and Matilde enjoyed being married. They spent as much time as possible together, but they also tried not to neglect their friends, so they often organized dinners and parties.

They decided not to have kids immediately and to focus on their careers instead. Matilde worked at the local hospital, and she needed to make her name known before taking any time off. Freddie thought about getting a job, but eventually decided that it was better for him to stay home, since Matilde was working long hours and she didn't have the time to take care of the house. He worked on improving his cooking skills instead. He loved taking care of his family, and while he agreed that it would be better to wait a little while, he looked forward to having children.
